Looking for MINI to rent.

I want to rent a MINI (preferably the S'), for a week.Actually I want to buy the car but I figured maybe I should test drive it for a week before making any commitment.Anybody know who/company that is offering such service?

I don't think you can rent a MCS in Malaysia. You can try your luck at AB, and see if they are willing to let you test the MCS for a week, but I don't think you need a week to decide. If you don't get hooked after an hour's test drive, the MCS is not for you!

The Mini is an ICONIC car.....that alone should tell u if its worth buying or not - in your books.

Anyhow, comfort is a subjective word......so a test drive from AB should already tell u if u r cut out for the car......

1 week to decide for a car???? Wonder how long you'll need before you decide to sign on the marriage cert???

Anyway, what are the things you're looking for in the Mini? No point having a car for a week if you're not sure what are your criteria. If you know what you're looking for a brief test drive and you'll find out most of its strength and weaknesses. However, other aspects like fuel consumption you'll would need to find out from existing Mini users.

Wah.. u guys make it like buying a newspaper, if dont like nevermind buy another one.

Well.. I am looking for a small car to be my main transportation. The car must not only cute but also has the muscle and must be comfortable to drive. The mini fits all the criteria except that I can probably get two Swifts for the price of one Mini.

But then again, Swift is not as cute, to me at least.

Anyway, I will be at AB bukit bintang this weekend checking the car. Anybody know whether they has the Mini D already in the showroom?

i can see (and so can the rest of the people here) that you are fussy. you have every right to be since its your money. however, buying a car (in malaysia at least) does not always give you a right to test out a car before buying. i know of many higher end cars that do not come with a drive before buying policy and i think the retailers have no problem selling them at all. no, it is different from buying newspaper other than the fact that newspapers also lose its value and saleability once read, and most newspaper sellers do not entertain requests to "test read" them before buying. hee hee.

its good to test drive a car to see if you like it.... but a week? well, i wish you all the best. i have only come accross fren fren situation where they pinjam me their car to test for a weekend before i decide, and i think it would be rare cases.

Haha.. that is exactly why I am asking to *rent*.. meaning I am willing to pay for it, I am not asking for a favor or special treatment.

Anyway, I tested a swift yesterday, I dont like it, the interior is so spartan compared to the mini. On the other hand.. the Golf looks handsome too.., but it is too big for my taste.

Missed an oppurtunity to buy the MK I last year ... real cheap.
