Never ending story la bro. We have 520, not enough change to 523, still not enough change to 525, then 528. Our manhood very hard to satisfy one, heheheeee.

For satisfaction then should go for a 540V8.......slurrrrpppp :top:

once you get your hands on that, you'll look out for M5....no end one

Well, since both are V8s, i bet you can replace your original 540i parts with M5 parts instead (i think). And one fine day, you can end up driving a totally rebuilt M5 on a 540i....okay that's wishful thinking now

even though the S62 (M5) engine is derived from the M62 (540i) engine, so far I have not come across any parts that are compatible...even belts or belt tensioner is different...suspension wise it is very similar as it shares the V8 e39 platform...

maintenance for the M5 is much more due to its low volume production..this applies to all M cars or low production volume cars...:top:

how many % i dunno and it is not fixed % on all items....i give u an example;

engine oil...lets say 525i on M54 uses 6.5l of castrol egde that is retailed at rm180/4l so u pay about approx rm292.5 for oil change. Filter around RM45? So totally RM337.50 (without labour)...comparing to M5 on S62 uses 7l of castrol tws that is retailed for approx rm100/1l and oil filter about rm50 that comes up to approx RM750 per oil change without labour. :top:
