Good Day to all,
I'm a newbie and having just joined this forum a couple of months back, I sure enjoy reading the tremendous amount of useful tips and infos contained in this discussion board.
As I can see there are many independent BMW workshops listed here - but I'd like to enquire how many are there in the PJ vicinity?
Yes, I can see that the list contains quite a few of them (in PJ area) but are they still operating?
As I myself stay in PJ, I would definitely appreciate if I can find a workshop that is near my place. If I'm not mistaken from the list, there is one at PJ Old Town, Jalan Gasing and Taman Mayang. And also at Jalan Klang Lama.
For the ones in PJ Old Town & Jalan Gasing, mind telling me where exactly they are located as I live extremely nearby that area.

For some who have the "balls" to own an UDM, what is the problem of finding a new workshop. Some might consider it an adventure.. ha..ha..
Seriously, BMWCM do not promote or sanction any workshop. We can only recommend that forummer use authorized workshop.

As for the address and contact number, they should be available in the phone directory. Most of the company are in business for a long time. If you cannot find them listed in the phone directory, don't bother to go there lah.

Can i suggest we provide a system for members to rate the workshops they frequent as a means for others to understand their competence n quality?

That is an extremely good suggestion, Cempaka - that we include adding the Address & Phone Numbers of the said workshops.

Another one is M.S Motor (Specialise just for BMW/Merz), i was told by one of my closed friend who has used him over 10 years, great guy and lot of used parts for those not willing to buy new parts, and good service, the guy is Akiong, 314M, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, KL.
I am sure soon we will get a compiled list that make available on the website for the members convenient. Keep it up!
