Life time of E34 shock mount?

Questions... how long do the E34-525i shock mounts (front, rear) last normally? Asking because I am getting 4 new dampers so while at it better do all necessary together.If I have to replace the shock mounts, should I get the stock version or is there a need for something heavy duty listed on www.bavauto.com?Thanks
