Really its my sincere advice. Once u buy the E39, I'll provide u free poison.

its true that e39 prices are very attractive now... but my mechanic said u should be able to spare some RM15-20K if you wanna buy this car, just in case...

yeah bro that's the idea since u r planning for new civic.
civic price is not cheap oso. u hv to fork out big d/pyment and high installment. Only its less problem due to new car but I think Honda parts r not cheap either.
U buy older cheaper E39, less d/payment and installment and can spare cash for wear n tear maintenance. I hvn't test drive the new civic but after I test drive E39, my E36 feel very light. So if u compare civic and E36 what's the outcome?:D

Japanese cars are no way near to German cars in terms of solidness... The Germans win hands down. If my bank account was a bit deeper, i'd love to have one... But, I guess its more/less the same... e39 loan interest would be much higher compared to a new honda... and would probaly only go about 5-6 yrs or so...

In any case... the Civic is on my wife's wish list (mine also laa), but its not timely yet. Money is needed elsewhere first... all part of growing up i guess!!!

Genius328,
sori hijack little. How the feel of new civic compare to E36?

Minivan,
Keep us update on yr mods. Gud luk bro. Happy modding.

I try my friends car (after I can't racun her to buy BMW...ayh xkasi la) Top speed is great, stable but I can say that cornering is quite "gayat" la. Especially when taking sharp corner on high speed. Unfortunately the price also not bad ahh.....monthly installment and year more than my car. Anyway, I give that car 4 star, 5 star for BMW.

Hi there...I'm a Honda fan too and I think I would be like u bro....only will own a Honda and a Beemer.....I already have my Honda and hope to get a beemer....
But for me I'm looking more at the e34....its twin round likes is synonym to BMW....although I like the e39 as well....but i think e34 is more within the budget although older....

nice ride bro..btw just wana know whether the rins you using now is 18" ?

aNyway..Bimmer RUleZ~!~! kakaka

Iceman13...
yeah, been to a TT once thus far. Got acquinted with a few guys. Networking will slowly grow.. :D but u guys always have night TT. Got wifey and kid at home. Sometimes hard to leave them alone.

atermizi...
Yeah its a DOHC VTEC... but no longer b16 :D :p (lets leave it at that). Only contemplating of a sale, but very-very the sayang laa.. we'll see how.. ;)

genuis328i...
I think the 'gayat' feeling during cornering is becoz of the car's weight. If ur use to Jap cars that are lighter, it will require sometime getting used to. but it can hold a a bit of good G's in corner actually..

intergramania...
Go for it bro (the e34). They are great. Especially long distance. Good bye backaches or tiredness on balik kampung trips... and yeah, Honda rocks!! ... and beemers to... :D

dwj...
Yep... their 18s..

Nice ride dude...

Nice pics, nice cars.

How much would those Hartge 19's cost to buy?

The new E60 5 is really a fantastic design. I favoured it all the way from the beginning, even when the public and press slated it... and now Bangle's "flame sufacing" is indeed used as a benchmark for designers the world over :D

is it fine with 18"?no rubbing?need any mod for 18"

No mods. No rubbings. Even on full load. No bull! And i'm on bilstein and eibachs..
The reason could be because i chose 225's instead of going for a 235 or 245 set..
