There’s only 2 types of cars i'd ever consider owning. Its either a Honda or a Beemer. Been playing with Honda's for quite a while. Owned an EK once, and I still have an old EF. Gotta love the high revving b-series VTECs. It just loves to scream and they kick quite a punch. But I’m getting older and more mature now. Use to buy ‘Honda Tuning’ now its ‘Performance BMW’. No more super-loud-authority-attracting-exhausts. So the plan is to sell the EF and use it as down payment for the new Civic (well its the wife’s plan at least… I’m still doing the math … heheh). Anywayz, here my current ride... an e36 with the super smooth and creamy 6 pot M52…

My 'berangan' wish list... :D Exterior : Full ACS kit, full body respray to Black, CF Hood...Interior : A set of nice Recaro's, CF trim on the dash...Engine : Something simple... Superchip, full set Hamman or Hiop Exhaust maybe.. :D Slowly laa... :p

These pics are of my car with my brother-in-law's e60. Its a 525i M-Sport on Hartge 19's... lucky bugger... i'm hoping he'll sell it to me at super low 'family price' one day...

Nice ride but how can a boy racer like you tolerate the steering wheel on the BMW.....shudddeeerrr man! can find nicer airbag equipped tiller if u keen mah....

Crow, daan, chairoger... thanx!

Jules... yep its big, but i have no qualms over it. It has a nice solid feel to it. But it also maybe the case of that i have'nt felt the nicer version yet... so what 'nicer airbag equipped tiller' do have for offer??

airbag steering wheels - cannot think of one brand but do a google search....I think there are some BMW ones which are nicer too.

Not bad, but the interiors need a bit of work.

With a e60 parked next to you... ***sigh***

I dig u too.

Thanx all for the comments!!

Funk,
yeah the interior is super stock at the moment. I've been looking at a few mags and identified this CF trim i saw in one of'em... its not the normal grey dull CF, its shiny and has this veeery light brownish finish to it... Have'nt seen it here yet... but slowly laa... other would be a new gearknob, coz mines all rubbed off oledi, and AC pedals are on the cards for starters... later on i'd love to get a pair of suitable Recaros or m3 seats, if money permits... :p

One thing about the interior though.... the e36 glove box sucks!! :D

Congrat on yr new ride bro!

Sell the EF. Use it as a downpayment for E39 instead:D

minivan,

Nice ride man ... and yes, nothing beats the satisfaction having work in progress! One thing at a time, I'm sure you'll get there. As for the infamous glove box issue, guess we'll just have to live with it. Somehow, the CBU cars ... even those dating back to the early 90s don't seem to have this problem.

Cheers,
VaN.

true man... every single time u change something new is a nice feeling. Even small things live changing the gearknob or something has this nice feeling to it, thats why doing up the car little by little is better than one time everything. This nice feeling lasts for about a week or so, then 'gatal' for something else oredi... :p :D
