HI All, I had a little fender bender in my e46 yesterday....pics attached. My insurance company is Kurnia and they say I MUST use THEIR workshops. They have a 'Panel Workshop Locator' on their site where I should select a shop to do the repairs:http://malaysia.kurnia.com/Insurance/WorkshopLocator/Default.aspxI am in Seri Kembangan but will drive anywhere a BMW Forum member recommends to do the body work. Would someone mind taking a look at the Kurnia site above to see if their favourite Workshop is listed? The workshops listed in Seri Kembangan specialize in PROTON!!! Not my first choice.:rolleyes:Come on guys....need your recommendation please......thanks....SomaView attachment 32402View attachment 32403

Good body/paint shops usually do not have insurance panels, i'm sorry. They do mostly non-claim related work. One reason is that insurance companies do not accept the 'high' prices charged by these shops.

Best place I know that accept Kurnia but reluctant is Hoo Huat at Segambut next to goodyear/proton

Oh no…Mizhan…you are probably right about insurance companies and good quality body shops.

Kurnia does offer a maximum 'fast track' claim of RM3000. They simply issue me a check on the spot which I can take to any body shop. However, don't you guys think this repair will be much more than RM3000 yes?

Anaksarawak, you mention Hoo Huat as 'reluctant'….do you mean you would hesitate to take your car their for body work??

Now I am worried lah?? What to do eh?

Anybody else can suggest from the list: http://malaysia.kurnia.com/Insurance/WorkshopLocator/Default.aspx

Is Kurnia your own insurance or that of the person who collided into you?

Even if someone knock into you, you do need to claim / seek approval from Kurnia as per my knowledge. Hoo Huat will only commencing their work upon Kurnia promised to pay.

always welcome a 'thank' if you like my post!
