just want to know if anybody have use eibach and koni combo before? what is the pro and cons?

Yes it would be great to know... im thinking of trying out this combo too. My contribution to this: Using the Koni abs should lower the car half an inch compared to Bilsteins for E46.

For E30 :

KONI + Eibach

Front:
Tempremental - great when the weather is nice and cool eg nite, rain. Floaty when the weather is hot ie mid-day.

Rear:
Not too bad - but a tad soft.

Setting requires driver's sensitivity

Drop height (318 M40) slightly (half a finger - front) lower than BILSTEIN Sport.

No bump stop as compared to BILSTEIN

My verdict:

BILSTEIN is still the best. But u have to use KONI, use it only for the front.
Get a BILSTEIN (heavy duty - Black) for the rear.

Again, it varies from one driver to another.

how bout hotbits adjustable suspension?...is it good for udm?

I dump my Hotbits (years ago) because it was too hard.

But then, that was my first sport suspension. Probably, I was not used to sport suspension hence the verdict.

My experience with Hotbits adjustables (non-UDM) is not positive. They dont last long after a revalve, maybe 1 year (of mostly undemanding driving) then got to revalve again, which takes the best part of a day.

I have heard better things abt Titan Suspensions.

YMMV.

my experience with hotbits on a japanese car was not satisfactory, tend to bottom out even at a slighest bump. send to speedworks for servicing, last for almost a year the went kaput again. Not to say their products are not good , but maybe it was bcoz of the roads

used it before....cannot last more then 40K.

no complain using the Apex....
but now..using the Bilstein B8.

hmm... like that better save up and get the good stuff then.. but i heard a friend telling to be carefull coz now got imitation abs... any comments sifus ??

Hi there,

I have actually fitted the Koni shocks to my Eibach Springs in the last month. Was using Bilstein before.

Its definitely alot softer, but awaiting to adjust the hardness (which im hoping has a bigger effect).

Will inform when i have adjusted the hardness okay.....
