key activated roll up windows

hi guys..i have a 520i 24v..i read somewhere that if you lock your driver door with the key and hold it,an open windoew will roll up by itself..is it true? ive tried this many times and nothing happenned..so i would like to know if this feature is available for all E34s or only for selected models...or is my technique wrong? i jus turn it to lock and hold it for about 10 seconds and give up..:motz: anyways heres a video on youtube of a fellow E34 owner dong it... http://youtu.be/4A4uiCbUYH8

Yes it works mith my cars.. u have to turn the key all the way to 90 degree n hold it for few seconds.. try again.. it should works..

Yes it works on my E39..
Turning the key to 90 degree n hold....
You can roll down or up.huhu...
Also by the remote it self....hold until the red light blink...

ive tried this again and again..does this feature have a fuse? or can anyone share with me the wiring diagram for the driver door(would like to compare with mine)..IT STILL WONT WORK FOR ME!!

It works on both doors.. driver n passanger.. try again.. make sure to turn the key all the way to 90 degree flat.. n hold it right there for a few seconds..

Oh that means actually there is central locking module...
Maybe try to find wireman that well verse in udm...

Tried with mine....96 model, works fine. Funny how the windows roll up one at a time, not all together.

Actually the front left n right will wind down or up first then both the rear will follow...
Mine can either with the remote or the key insert in the barrel huhi...
