K&N air filter

Hi guys,Am thinking of changing my stock to K&N, any comment? E90 323. Thanks.

Be careful when you oil it. If too dry, it will not be effective to filter dust which gets into your cylinder liners and works like a sand paper.. If too wet, excess oil will blow pass and get coated onto your MAF and cripple it.

Performance gain is not obvious, I wouldn't waste my time and money.

The problem with after market air filter is you have to maintain or service it regularly to ensure optimum performance. A badly maintain after market air filter may cause more harm than good. In addition you may get some unwanted noise from these after market filter.
