hi bro...

jag is jag la...forever...mine is 89 model...square light...and guess what..mine are the x300 daimler rims as well...hahaha...non chrome though...oooouuch mechanic...damn...

i bought the haynes manual on the xj 40 and the repair manual as well...i still have the series III manual as well....covered in dust...haha...

i love seeing another jag on the road...especially a classic one..makes me feel proud to own one..

Ooh, okie. I bought a Jaguar XJ40 book when I was studying in UK few years back. Very nice book, ordered from ebay, many pics, and all models covered, from the Sovereign to the Daimler Double Sixes. :D

Cool, not the chrome ones huh? I'm sure it's still a looker! :top:

Haha, same here. I once saw an Singapore-reg XF when I was filling up at the petrol station last Monday, but we were on opposite ends of the station! :D

Jags are very few and far between, and the classic ones are always the ones that pique my interest!

That's a great pic - the lighting on the car together with the dusk/dawn skyline is just perfect. :top:

Agreed! Very nice effect, with the focus very much placed on the 928. :top:

We should have teh tarik together with Eggie86 one fine day and just drool over our cats...hehehe:top:

Haha. Got two cats, but the other's on the verge of being sold. Dad's planning to sell the XJS, and probably get a R129 SL next.

IMO the XJS offers more ride comfort and masculinity than a R129...

Good hunting bro!

Haha, thanks for the opinion. No idea what my dad will opt for, but it seems pretty apparent that his heart is set on the R129. :D

Wow, S4 huh? That's one of the best 928s to ever be launched. But like our Brunei bro, ///z, he currently owns a 928GTS.

Anyways, thanks for the update bro. A couple of weeks back, my dad said he was quite interested in getting the SL from Jag's Classic in Damansara Perdana.

Hehe. Yeah, dad wants to own a R129 next I suppose. He's probably had enough of Bimmers already. :D

Hi guys,

I too have an XJ40 3.2. This is my third car after my e46 coupe and e39. Bought it off a friend. Do you guys know where can i get secondhand parts for this car and also are there any after market springs? Need to bring the car down a bit. I know it will spoil the ride but i notice it sits a bit higher compared to other xj40 ive seen.

Hi ssa34,

i think for jags parts, its either sisma or sin tong bee in jalan pudu...if not there's alwiz ebay...hahaha

There's a half cut shop specializing in British marques, mostly Jags somewhere after the old Subang Airport, on the way to Sg Buloh if not mistaken. My dad said there's a huge half cut shop there. Some parts can be bought on ebay, if shipping/postage is cheap, then more worth it since original and obtained from UK breakers.
