jag is jag la...forever...mine is 89 model...square light...and guess what..mine are the x300 daimler rims as well...hahaha...non chrome though...oooouuch mechanic...damn...

i bought the haynes manual on the xj 40 and the repair manual as well...i still have the series III manual as well....covered in dust...haha...

i love seeing another jag on the road...especially a classic one..makes me feel proud to own one..

Ooh, okie. I bought a Jaguar XJ40 book when I was studying in UK few years back. Very nice book, ordered from ebay, many pics, and all models covered, from the Sovereign to the Daimler Double Sixes.

Haha, same here. I once saw an Singapore-reg XF when I was filling up at the petrol station last Monday, but we were on opposite ends of the station!

Jags are very few and far between, and the classic ones are always the ones that pique my interest! :love:

IMO the XJS offers more ride comfort and masculinity than a R129...

Haha, thanks for the opinion. No idea what my dad will opt for, but it seems pretty apparent that his heart is set on the R129.

Wow, S4 huh? That's one of the best 928s to ever be launched. But like our Brunei bro, ///z, he currently owns a 928GTS.

I too have an XJ40 3.2. This is my third car after my e46 coupe and e39. Bought it off a friend. Do you guys know where can i get secondhand parts for this car and also are there any after market springs? Need to bring the car down a bit. I know it will spoil the ride but i notice it sits a bit higher compared to other xj40 ive seen.

There's a half cut shop specializing in British marques, mostly Jags somewhere after the old Subang Airport, on the way to Sg Buloh if not mistaken. My dad said there's a huge half cut shop there. Some parts can be bought on ebay, if shipping/postage is cheap, then more worth it since original and obtained from UK breakers.
