Hello guys,I am in the process of evaluating between E60 and Harrier 240G for my company car entitlement. I have prepared a table to objectively compare the two. However, one missing variable is to compare the interior space between the two machines. From official specs, they are about the same width (1845 and 1846mm respectively). From physical observation, it seems to me that Harrier has a wider space compared to E60 by a few inches. Is that true? Thanks.

I think Cysoon has both of these cars and maybe able to give some good feedback on space. But he hasn't posted for a while now. Anyway, if its for a company car, go with the E60 as the downsides of owning the E60 such as higher maint and depreciation is not so much of a concern in this case. The 240G is a much wiser buy if its a personal purchase :).

for company, i would choose the e60 it's way more expensive, first hand price diff > RM150K. Rear passengers would probably prefer Harrier to e60.

the 2 cars are not even in the same category. how to compare an apple wid an orange????

**cabuts!**

Omnigo,

Both is a nice car. Depends your usage and is totally different class............. If I go out with my family members and my kid I will prefer to pick up my 240G but if I am going for official meeting and dinners I will prefer to take my E60.

As for performance E60 is better as for comfort 240G seem to be better. In terms of maintenance for services Toyota always cheaper then BMW. As for tyre 1 piece of Michellin for 18" will cost around RM 930-980 and for E60 runflat 17" is around 1800 - 2000 per piece.

So is totally up to you to decide what occasion you want to use this vehicles.

If you need further details please email me......... FYI both is very nice car, so far no complaint.

If you compare space, the Harrier has much more space (cabin and boot space). Boot space is even better than e65 7 series and cabin space is nearly same with e65 except IL models.

e60 without no doubt will have less space than the harrier.

Just a thought, if you are planning to be driven in the back seat, you will find the Harrier a much better car as the individual bucket rear seats has protruding side bolsters which makes it a tad difficult for you to get in and out from the rear seats. Personally I find the side bolsters a bit too uncomfortable as they appear to push your shoulders outward as oppossed to proper buckets that holds the side of your shoulders. Should an executive sedan be a must, try the W211 for rear comfort otherwise grab the Harrier.

no no no!!! get the latest Audi A6 for comfort if a driver is included!
