to all sifus out there,

i posted a WTB ad for e36 coupe a few months back. i'm still deciding as i have not found one i like yet. and the e36 coupes are hard to find. i was looking for at least the 325. but after speaking to a few people, some comments that i had was that it is hard to buy as well as hard to sell. :dunno: is it true. i'm thinking of getting a 4 door one now. more space as well. but somehow it don't look as sexy as the coupe.

i hav also read thru some of the threads and there was a lot of good feed back on the e46s but not very positive on the e36s. so i would like to ask all the sifus out there if the e36 is a good car to buy for a everyday car. can only afford the e36!

E36 is generally a very good car. Its just that there is not many left on the road which is properly maintained by its owners or its previous owner. :(

Mikeong is right . There are not many in mint condition for sales. Most are still with the present owner . Should you come across one with full service history ...buy buy buy :D
Anyway , manual version of 325 / 328 are totally different beast .
Drove / taxi ride before in my friend's manual 325/328/325 with 3l HIOP Stroker kit and I must say that they are really fast .
Makes my 328 auto feels slow right after sitting in them. :eek:k:

Bro,

if you are still looking for a E36, I suggest you go for models from 1997 onwards. Because these are the improved of the models. Hence, the earlier E46 are also using the same engine.

If you are looking for speed and performance... go for 325i or 328i. If you want to safe some money in maintenance and patrol... go for 318i.

Body modification you can get it very easily for around RM 1000 - 2000 for non-original Schnitzer or M3. Otherwise it is also comment to find a used E36 with body kit and fat tyres... safe money for upgrade.

Good luck! Teekay
