Hi, mine 05 e60 got this problem also last few month ago, n i able to get a second hand CCC in KL (PJ), quite cheap, about RM2200! i check with autobavaria, imported from japan is cost about s$1700, with programming is about RM1000, so its about RM5xxx to get a new one, hope this will help u

,..the same like what was explained here bro. iDrive non-responsive ... if it does, it will be turtle-mode ... radio on-off by itself and the PDC when engaged also gives out intermitten sound or no sound at all. My mechanic says this is sometimes normal to the E60 and usuallly the cause is this bluetooth thing .... I will update more (if any) as my ride is having its shocks fixed and ATF changed. My mechanic will get to the RC of this abnormalities soon after....

Salah satu MOST ecu rosak tu....biasanya ULF (bluetooth) kalau nak pasti ,bypas kan je MOST conecter kat ULF ecu,dalam boot kiri,buka conecter ada 2 MOST line (hijau) fix MOST conecter 61136906535 ..lepas tu on ign cuba radio & CID ,cubalah ,kalau jadi ,tak abis rm100 pun tapi bluetooth x work ,kalau x jadi ada MOST ecu lain yg rosak.Nak tukar ULF ni rm 2k lebih ,kena program lagi ,takut masa program ada ECU lain kena update atau faulty atau dah ketinggalan zaman,dah satu hal lagi...awak orang faham ke bahasa yang aku gunakan ni..maaf ajelah erk''

Greetings gegek ... yes, kito paham bebenor....mmg kena trouble-shoot satu2. kalau nasib baik, betulkan cd changer dpt restore problem, kalau dok, kena try the bluetooth by-pass lak ...see how2 1st laa...:biggrin: ....

Bypass bluetooth means pull out a certain cable?

Pull out conecter ,ECU & MOSt ,just conect MOST with 61136065350 or 61136931507...

Tidak juga .kerja ini untuk troubleshooting yang mudah tanpa GT1 setelah dipastikan all fuses MOST ECU ok (display & CCC ..ada fuse kat backside ) E60 ni biasanya ULF problem,tapi tak semestinya ,kerana MOST BUS ni work in parallel (1 ecu faulty ,all system fail).kos pun tak mahal kalau dah cuba kat ULF ,CDC & NAV tak ok juga .kenalah cari technician yang layak......

"kos pun take mahal" means around what price to settle problems like this? Also my old motherboard is still useable if i just bypass the bluetooth?

Got my iDrive fixed today for RM160! ... The mechanic did a bypass on the bluetooth n everything is ok. Let's see how long it will last. Will update u guys more if any :top: ..... Btw, gegek, thxs for the assistance :top:

I've seen some E60 which has their old i-drive changed to the latest version (bigger display). Perhaps you can change the whole i-drive if it's not very expensive?
