Hi all Sifus out there,My current E46 stock system sounds horrid and there is NO bass at all, I'm looking to upgrade the speakers, any recommendations? I called Simon from Tenichi Audio in PJ, and a basic front speaker upgrade will cost abt RM1800 onwards, my budget only abt RM500 - can anyone for me some advice on what to do, or where to go within my budget?Any advice is MUCH appreciated! :wink:Btw, does anyone know the size of the rear parcel speakers?

Selling off my audio set, with sub, speakers, tweeters, amps and wiring. Don't ask me what is the setup, as I got it from a friend. All inclusive, as in the picture. Head unit is not included.

RM2300

Thanks anyway bro - RM2300 or RM1800 is way off my budget. I don't mind just getting your front and rear speakers if you offer to me at a good price, what do you say?
You can sell the amps and other stuff ala carte.. do let me know...thanks!

if you're only doing speakers, best get one designed as drop in replacements coz they're more efficient more likely to sound good out of box. mbq and bostons do some but probably double your budget.

But the little original amp wont be able to drive most of the speakers available in the market, other than the Rainbow speakers made specially for BMW? :)

Thanks for the recommendations - true, the tiny original amp will not be able to drive the speakers, so it will not be audiophile quality.
An audio shop in PJ SS2 (can't remember the name) quoted me RM660 for the 2 front Epsilon 6.25" speakers and tweaters and audio wiring and installation - is that a good deal?

Any changes to your front comp will need some mod/customization to your speaker housing as your front comp consist of 1 tweet and 2 speakers (1 is 2 inch I think and the other is 5 inch if not mistaken) at the door card. Most shop only have 5.25 or 5.5/6.5 inch mid bass speaker. Once you go this route you can switch off the smaller speaker on the door card.
