yeah can spray on your rear signal light. will look great but spray outside....

ichiwan2 has done it on his spare tail light as an experiment. I would say it turned out pretty well.

I have to find another 2 cans. Seems to be in very short supply/non-existent at the hobby shops that I know. There is another type made by Tamiya also - code is TS-71 Smoke. It is made for plastic vs polycarbonate - whats the diff?. Cap is the same as PS-31.

As an extension, I would suggest that u also spray clear lacquer on top of the smoke paint for added protection, particularly at the front. U can get cheaper clear lacquer from Ace Hardware.

Clear lacquer can also give ur faded tail and signal lamps new life. Just make sure the surface is super clean and if needed, lightly sanded with 0000 grit paper.

BTW, I had to use nearly one whole can for my rear lens (1 side only).

Yah, I tot of using the clear spray as well. But, to think of it, may as well I spray INSIDE the plastic. After all, I still removed the signal plastic. Just screw it out and sprayed it inside. I just noticed that the surface is quite rough after spraying it.

But as fer the rear lights, I guess to make things easier, just spray outside lah :yes:
