Hi sifus..

As topic mentioned above, can some one enlighten how to check the aux fan was in good condition or not ?

Recently noticed my car's aux fan was not spinning even after the aircond switch on more then 20 mins.

Can some one tell normally how long the aux fan will start spinning after the aircond start running. And where is the location of our E46 aux fan fuse located.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers..

That's good question sifu.. i think the mechanic forgot to connect back when they change my belting, tensioner pulley and aircond compressor pulley two months back :motz:

yeah, that mechanic is the culprit as it is required to remove the fan cover in order to access the pulleys and tensioner. :65:

Alex5222,

The moral of the story is never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never trust mechanics.

Remember the two rules of mechanics:
1) The mechanic is never at fault.
2) If the mechanic is at fault, refer to rule Mumber One.
