The 325i M sport is still rather rare in the used car market, so I think its worth more than Rm220k outside in the market. Not much higher but can try at Rm240k+ and see how it goes.
Thought of downgrading myself to a Golf..
I was offered a good deal..(new car)
So was thinking should I hv a short term lost (ie first yr depreciation is 30-40%) ..or long term lost.
Downgrading? Did you find the 325 sports suspension a little too stiff? That was one one on the main reasons I would not go for the sports model. The golf ride is better, in terms on comfort and handling.
IMHO, it's not a good idea to sell a new car after 1 year to get another new car, therefore suffering 1st year depreciation on 2 cars. Maximum losses on both then. You suffer a 10% depreciation the moment you drive a new car out of the showroom.
Unless you really don't like living with your current ride, or it's a lemon, or have too much money to burn.
While I love the Golf GTi I won't sell my E90 to get one. The E90 is a more balanced experience, while the Golf GTi would be great as a 2nd car. I tried convincing my wife to swap the Jazz for the GTi by psychoing my son to ask her to change car, but she's not biting . She likes small fuel efficient cars. Ken and Rimsukan in the forum has both. Some guys have all the luck
wow...u guys a lot of money. donate to me la. so i can have the e90 n the golf.
its not about the drive. car is superb. i m just looking at the financial side..
