Dear all, I'm having lots of problem with BMW authourise services center in somewhere near "Subang industry area". (Sorry, try not to mention the exact area but you guys shld know which 1 I'm refering to).My E90 have some noise coming from (I think) suspension in the morning start. I heard some noise in front when I engaged in D "gear" without moving... and when I go thru uneven road, the suspension give me some "erk erk" noise. I send my car to the services center twice and they can't even solve my problem. I think this is what they call "Professionally services BMW". The worst thing is my alignment is totally out after I pick up my car the second time I went for services. The dun even do the alignment for me after they have take off my suspension. I log complaint to BMW Malaysia and they dun seems bother about it. Anyway they aldy make the money from my car aldy... Can't really accept this kind of services from the German. I'll try my best to get this publish in local motorsport magazine and highlight this issue to the German HQ. Anyone experience this kind of services from them or any idea what is the real problem of the car? Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your predicament dannis. Perhaps you could try calling 1-800-88-3000 (BMW Customer Interaction Center) to voice your complains. Our so called authorized dealers, especially the well-known ones are already famous for their service levels. Perhaps you could also take your to Sapura Auto for a checkup?

Sorry, I don't have the problem that you are facing, and hence can't really provide any advice.

Thanks rookie, aldy call BMW Customer Interaction Center. Keep getting complaints from some friends (BMW owner), some of them even change to Merz or Lexus due to bad experience from BMW. What I'm try to do is gather some opinion and send it to BMW HQ in German. Malaysian car marker r really bad at the moment, just wonder how long they can survive by providing this kind of "After Sales Services".

I personally think that 3 series car is a driver car and most of the buyers buying it is just that they love the car instead of BMW providing good after sales services.

Thanks

Too bad its not going to be the last complaint....... sigh

Hi Dannis,

Not really the same problem but I experienced some erk erk sounds from the door when going over bumpy roads. Mine is a CBU unit and went to AB in Glenmarie. They changed all the door rubbers and readjusted the door and the sound went away. So I am quite glad with their service so far.

The door noise is quite standard with CBU unit as what I understand from members here and services center. Mines is CKD version.

To all BMW owner here... we r proud to be UDM pilot and I think we desired the best services from them as well and this is what they quoted on the official website. Just dun sing the sad song within ourself and we need to let them know our sad song.

I have called for about 10 times during last 2 weeks to look for my services advisor, but not even once I manage to talk to him. I left message and number and I never get reply and this really pissed me off. Again, they dun even do alignment for me after fixing the suspension and make me worry whether they fix my brakes or tires properly or not?

I find AB Glenmarie a bit to busy for them to give you enough time and attention to take care of the troubleshooting problems which are not the norm. It seems like they are firefighting there. AB sg besi seems to have been replaced by quite inexperience careless mechanics (I heard a lot of experienced AB folks went to Sapura) as my last inspection 2 was rather sloppy for what I expected (I had to return to ask for plastic valve cover hole covers which they left out when they put it back!). Also they broke my front right kidney in front of my eyes when trying to open my bonnet to look at the missing plastic covers. They claim the plastic gets brittle and prone to cracking and its not their fault. So I don't wanna send to AB sg besi anymore.

Try AB Segambut or Sapura Auto...

Hi dannis, I would suggest that you pay a personal visit to the Service Center, and demand to see the Service Manager for clarification. I have also asked my sales person for help and she used to help me by bringing me personally to see the Service Manager. Be ready to bang tables and chairs to get a satisfactory solution

Yo Rookie, U r the man, I have to call you Rocky in the future... I'm expert to bang table and throw chairs during school time.

E46F and I were at AB Segambut today and I noticed the workshop was FULL of cars! I even asked an SA how they can handle the load but only got a shrug. So, I guess Sapura Auto might be the better option. Yet again, I heard that a lot of fellas who were disgruntled with AB that somewhere near Subang place migrated to AB Segambut and have found the service to be much better there. I'm yet to try that place for myself but will certainly consider after I get my E92.

Hi Juan, thot u have aldy pick up ur E92... is it supposed to be delivered this week? Can you sleep well by thinking of your sexy E92:p Can't wait to see how twin turbo performance la.

For E46, I dun care whether there's firefighting or banging each other over there, I just want my problem solved. I'm going to start a topic about "poorest services center" and let's everyone here aware about it.

Remember, we desired the best services from them!

Hi Dannis, I believe most of us are already aware of their shortcomings :) They haven't changed since the early '90s when I started using AB. Even now, before signing up for my E90 325i Sports the sales guy called me twice a week. Now that I've signed, he hasn't called even ONCE and it's been 3 weeks. :D

They don't bother because happy dorks like us will still buy their cars. Don't expect the same level of service as other marques. Know what to expect and you won't get so worked up and disappointed. That's the world of BMW in Malaysia!

There are lots of mechs outside who are tons more experienced than the newbie mechs working on your car in the official workshops. Take the advice of the sifus in this forum.

Juan, no mattter how is still a good machine even 323... still much better than my 4 cyl engine. I'm willing to swap my car with urs:D
