:dunno: Dear fellow forumers,Sad to say that my plans to upgrade my current ride did not materialize... :( for some reasons I'd rather not discuss here. Anyways, looks like its option B. But before I commit, I would like to ask my fellow forumers the following:1. Where can I get info. on the history of the Z series2. For those owning the ride, having had experience driving it or even sitting in one, how do you rate the car (please mention the model/year): from performance, handling, maintenance all the way to the babe factor etc. etc.Your comments, advise etc. etc. is very much appreciated and I thank you for your time in responding to this thread....

U cud take a look at BMW Mobile Tradition CD - some of the forumers here have it. Dunno where I put my CD - coutesey of Mr ChanKL during BMM then.

Thanks for the info. ilv, would AB or Cartrade be able to provide me with a copy...

Any forum members still have this CD. Appreciate if you could PM me. Thanks.

Z1 started it all. Classic and rare.

Z3 is known as a "hairdressers car" (all show and no go) and never did very well in sales. Even the ///M Z3 isnt all that great (they couldnt fit the 6 speed gearbox in with the "Evo" 3.2L so they went back to the 5-speeder)

Z4 is a much worthy replacement for the Z3.

3-er.. How cud U forget the Z8 being cut in halve by the forrest saw with Sophie Marceu as my passenger???
:D

Mr Cat.. U cud write to BMW Malaysia and order. I will try to find where mine is...OR, U cud PM ChanKL (dunno what's his nick in this forum... if he is lurking).

There's a book on the history of the Z series. I think I saw it in Kinokuniya before. Why not call them up, as well as MPH to check? Google the subject too. You'll get loads of fan sites, forums, etc. Good luck!

Oh ya.

Z8 - Bond wannabe. 5.0L V8 400lbft torque ///M5 engine in that bod to die for. Need you ask about pulling factor? (pun intended). SAM's are optional extras....
