Highline VS M-sport

If a recond unit, will the M-Sport word appear in the car reg card ? For Example, BMW 525i M-Sport 2005 ?

just changed the wipers on my car...the previous one was damn noisy....so much so i tried not using the wipers until i really have too...it was bad..

now the new ones..slightly better...but still got that annoying squeeky sound...damn..:stupid:

it's quite common for dealers, even naza to 'upgrade' their cars with the bodykit to pass as m-sport. If you hang around the bodykit shops you'll see many unregistered cars going for the upgrade. most ppl don't know what they're buying.

Also be very aware of fake M-sports. Usually can be easily seen with the chrome window trims. Some sellers say that a highline is an M-sport because of the bodykit, but look out for the chrome window trim and the M-sports steering

Well as i know M-Sport is factory fitted NOT dealer fitted and as such you could actually checked via www.realoem.com by puttting in d last 7 digit or your VIN to determine whether you're getting d real deal or not as d website will pull out d parts and options that came with it

it the trim that is running on top of the two window from the front to the rear end.

If you look at Highlines, the strip that goes around the side windows are chrome. M-Sports are black.

Yup ... msport version have wat is called 'shadowline' trim and cost a bomb around rm1700 for one side only thus why it's easy to spot a fake msport if there is one plus again check with www.realoem.com with your VIN number for verification cos it's a factory option

The older engine does not have Valvetronic at which it produces 192hp while the new engine produces 218hp. Displacement for the old engine was 2494cc where else the new one is 2497cc

True ... d only consolation is dat d older engine is force-induction friendly i.e. supercharge or turbo fed unlike with d newer magnesium engine which can't withstand d higher temperature and pressure ...

p/s: 335i engine is twin-turbo and is aluminum alloy instead of magnesium

true...the 335i engine if not mistaken is the N54B30 engine which its block is similar to the M54B30 engine block which BMW decided more suitable for the turbo charging comparing to the N52 block design...

the N52 engine runs at higher temperature than the M54 so i think it would not be able to handle turbo or sc...

Nope... I think E60 models from the year 2006 and above will have the push start button...

the engine cover shud be grey/silver type instead of black...

better check....
