Hi,My baby has traveled 60k, and i was wondering besides the front control arm, what other suspension bushings i have to deal with. I've heard that changing bushings on the whole car makes it ride better, but i dont know where to start.... (my baby feels a little loose on the front end and the wheel changes directions too easily on road imperfections)

Hi

Most of the time it will be the lower arm bushes that u need to change. Pls buy after market urethane bushes which will last longer and u get a firmer ride. Also look into the front absorber mountings. This can also cause your handling t be less firmer/ soft and unstable.

The e46 is known to have lower arm bushes to break upon hard impact into portholes and road imperfections.

If u like u can also look into changing the gear box and engine mountings. The absorber mountings for rear bushes too can be changed as well.

Also look at the anti roll bar bushes for front and rear. This could have deteriorated a well.
