what can be done to readjust my camber?

You need to "jack" to re-adjust the camber. Just be careful as the wheel bearing will be damaged.Insured By Mafia said:Anyone here to rescue me with my camber issue?

Bro jarance, how much are the M3 bushes and where can we get them? Thanks.jarance said:As for the bushing worn out, dont use stock bushing fro BA. They only last a year.
I have use bushing that is "M3" Spec and it last for 4 years..
Pay more but last longer. Down side, it is a bit stiffer. Can feel the steering vibration when going over lousy road surface.
And yes the shop that offer to change only the rubber bushing is correct.
You can still use back the metal. They have a hydraulic jack to jack out the
rubber part and insert with new rubber
See, i have a reason to address you as "sifu"..you're da best..!!jarance said:

Cant remember the price coz did it 4 years ago. Most of aftermarket that was mentioned earlier in this thread are applicable.ALIAS said:Bro jarance, how much are the M3 bushes and where can we get them? Thanks.
Sorry bro, I cant remember where I did this for my E36 but I do remember it was an old skool shop.Insured By Mafia said:thank god you shed some lights..all the workshop i went to reset my alignment n camber had no idea how to fix this...
again, u kno any mech who can get this done for me sifu?..this issue is wearing my tyre off faster den i expected...
There are some people who change item #3 as well when changing item # 4 does not help in the free play. I change item #4 because there were some free play there. To check for the free play, start the engine and ask somebody to move slightly the steering wheel from left to right. Observe when the steering move slightly and where the place where after the joint did not move equally.Insured By Mafia said:See, i have a reason to address you as "sifu"..you're da best..!!
By da way Sifu, item no4, the swivel joint..i've got this replaced after u adviced me once..dat was a few months back..honestly, dat didnt improve anything..probably because my old swivel joint was still in a good condition too..nevertheless, i had the satisfaction of replacing wear n tear parts..im pretty sure that will sooner or later contribute to freeplay ..
and about the video..dat was very informative..but too bad, i hv no knowledge of steering mechanism..absolutely no idea which bushes needs replacement..I'd appreciate if you point me to mech who can get this done for me..by da way, which is better, replacing the whole steering column with a 2nd hand one, or just get it repaired like in the video..?
Roger that..will take the advice if my bushes are broken again..thanks Sifu..jarance said:Cant remember the price coz did it 4 years ago. Most of aftermarket that was mentioned earlier in this thread are applicable.
FYI, I change mine at M1, Segambut.

Perhaps other can recommend a shop. Maybe it would help if you show the picture around the alignment shop.
noted Sifu, will check on item 3 and the steering column before i jump into conclusion...will keep u posted..again, you're da best..thanks Sifu..jarance said:There are some people who change item #3 as well when changing item # 4 does not help in the free play. Before you adjust your chamber, look at the below document. it will give you a better understanding.Insured By Mafia said:aaaahh, i have no choice den..let me try shop hopping with the pic..see if anyone can help...
meanwhile, lemme post another thread on this camber issue..in case if other fellow bmw owners can recommend a shop..
Again thanks sifu..
Not sure what's the tolerable camber. Was told that bimmers have negative camber built in for the rear. Helps with stability. Downside is of course inner tyre will wear faster.Insured By Mafia said:Anyone here to rescue me with my camber issue?

Thank you. I'm guessing the M3 bush you mentioned is rubber. PU bushes are supposedly too hard and tends to spoil ride quality. With my previous car, I did an all round bush change once every 4 years. The bushes themselves don't cost that much. It's the labour charge that was expensive.jarance said:Cant remember the price coz did it 4 years ago. Most of aftermarket that was mentioned earlier in this thread are applicable.

I think the brand is Lemfoerder and it is PU if I am not mistaken. Yes, loose some ride quality but then again that is what an M-Sport does.. better handling..ALIAS said:Thank you.
