Once the 3L turbodiesels come in, uncle Schwepps will follow suit too (despite both of you slamming the 30d time and time again). The 323i and the 325i don't come close, andrewlim. Good you came to your senses, andrew...join the 320d boys for a TT or a run soon! You drive a 320i now, right? Bet it doesn't hit 250km/hr like ours does.... maybe uncle Schwepps can play with a E60 530d 2004 model in the mean time. There's one for sale, uncle Scwepps for 162K. Mind you, its a 6 cylinder turbodiesel...I know you love 6 cylinder cars...you are always raving about them..so, this one is right up your alley! I tested it yesterday, when you rev it...it goes ummmmh ummmmmmh like a F1 engine. Try it!

if u have free time, pls read all my previous posts again. i didnt slam 320d with a single word, i was slamming on u only....hehe.... just that, the way u were praising "your 320d" was a bit too much (at least fews of the forummers felt that too). of course u can praise your car but never step on ppl's preference to make yourself proud, rite? i never mean to flame u again, so just stay cool............

by the way, i didnt own a 320i b4, i am now on my 1.5yrs old scirocco. be careful when u see a roc on your rear view mirror............give way is your only choice...hahaha.....dun feel angry, i am just telling you the truth.

i tried the latest performance edidtion 320d on last Nov, no doubt is a good car, powerful n fuel economy, but still not a "fast" car !

Scirocco 2.0 is different, it can really thrash 320d anyway.

320D is a very good car, superb fuel economy, massive low end grunt but if race with a Roc or GTi from KL to Cameron highland, sorry to tell you that the 320D doesn't stand any chance. You will be lucky if you still can see the Roc or GTi's tail light half way to Equatorial.

Come lah siuloong, andrewlim, uncle schwepps...join the race. Action speaks louder than words. Long weekend next week. Go Saturday April 30th, come back May 2nd. 2N/3 days. Nice holiday too. Freash air. Drink some Boh tea etc etc. Maybe a few others might also join....spoke to szehoong who's keen, maybe Yazid may also come...they'll be the marshalls, unless you want to bring your own marshalls. I checked Cameron Highland Resort and Lakehouse Resort...fully booked. So, Equatorial then...quickly, how many rooms u guys need?

The 320d fuel usage still amazes me. After the hard driving up and down Cameron Highlands recently, I still had half tank fuel left when the tripmeter passed 400km! :top:

It'll be phenomenal! Better than Topgear or Fifthgear! Each proponent will get 5 minutes to talk about their beloved car and what sets their car apart from the rest- schweps, you can talk about finding Belakong factories etc...

Totally agree with Andrew. Stay cool..... The reasons i join this forum are make friend who love BMW and share our view as well as opinion.

Regarding the race between 320d, Scirocco, 325i, GTI, all of them are great cars and have own characteristic.
