Hello everybody..I'm not sure whether this is a right place to ask about car loan.I've been offered a good condition (2009) 320d yesterday from individual and already pay my deposit.Currently looking for a loan, around 180k will be sufficient for me...My questionWhich bank gives the best deal nowdays?any idea for latest interest rate for 2nd unit?any body can recommend a good banker/agent?as i'm currently working in Spore, my schedule will be tight.i.e only available on weekend to settle my loan/buying process etc. email corrospondence/call is possible anyway during weekdays..appreciate ur help and again apologize if i'm posting on the wrong section..tq

U made the right choice buying the 320d Jim! It will save you more than the 7K more over the 320i with your travelling bills to and from Singapore. And there's Euro 4 diesel in Singapore too which will give your car optimum performance!

Try out Affin follow by Public. Both these banks offer the best rate. First choice is Affin. Rate for 2nd hand is going at 3.75% to 3.9%.

Yup, already submitted my doc to bmw credit this morning but was told interest rate of around 4.2.

Doesn;t look good to me, thats why looking for alternative

won't be driving the car to spore anyway. I could see the car to be stranded in my porsch waiting to be driven on weekend when i'm in kl.

I myself did not planned to get the car at this early but the condition of the car seem to be very good to be resist, well maintained by its owner and mileage of only 9000km :)

The only worried if only if i failed to secure the loan, as i'm a PO basis..

let see how it goes.. God willing i may be able to join you guys soon :)

1 question .
Any of u have experience fitting 325 m sports rims into 320d? i kinda hook to its rims design.. just exploring future possibility....

for one year car, the interest rate should be 3.6% to 4%. public and affin is fast, ambank also good rate but slow in service.

try public...their service is good.if you cannot kaotim with them let me know i'lli apply for you since every morning need to visit their motor h/p department.

Good News guys...

just get info that my loan have been approved by bmw credit as well as public bank...
Now need to arrange further with the seller this weekend. i.e paying remaining downpayment etc...

anybody have answer for the following doubt :

1) have anybody fitted a captor/i mob or any similar tracking system...? any effect to the electronic system?

2) Price for Michelin PS3 RFT in Malaysia? I 'm based in spore. wanna compare price, and thinking to change to ps3 as i heard they're good. Can feel the hardness with the current RFT on the car (bridgestone potenza)

3) Any idea life for bridgestone potenza rft? 10'000km/20'000km?

4) service interval for the 320d? and say if it is 20k, and i'd like to have another in between (10k), how much the cost would be at Auto Bavaria?

thanks and looking forward to drive the UDM :)

2. prices would be cheaper in Singapore from what I've read. Just as comparison, the Bridgestone Potenza RFT 225/45/17 is roughly RM1150 and the 255/40/17 is RM1800 here.

3. 20k km again from what i've read. I'm not even close yet :D

4. Auto Bavaria here sets it to 10k km. Might be different in Singapore with euro4 diesel.

Ok,

Just came back from AB glenmarie after signing some loan doc...
If everything goes well, I may be able to drive the car on next weekend :)

Where are you based? Sg or KL ? or you plan to drive from Sg to JB for service?

Additional oil change is est $600+

Currently based in Singapore but i did not bring my car here.
It will be in Malaysia all the time...

.. so who's looking after the car?!

U must be very excited, don't rush things and take your time to learn about the car. I am sure there's more to learn each day. More importantly, don't think brand new car is problem free, then u'll enjoy the ownership a lot more! :top:

Welcome to the tribe!
