my E39 528i gearbox is gone, and i tumbled upon this page on FB, promoted in one of my friend's FB pages. if anyone has tried pakargearbox.com, be it good experience or bad, do let me know. and since we are on kaput gearbox topic, is it cheaper to manualize my E39 or stick to auto? thanks.https://www.facebook.com/pages/PakarGearBoxcom/312265075559618?ref=stream

Bro, just go to Mscope to get a quote for rebuild. A full rebuild for E46 is 6.5k with recond torque converter. E39 should cost about the same.
