I bought a unit from bmw7833 for my e46 and i could not show him what was wrong becoz he says he is in penang. Then he told me he is not using the same unit in his car. Also the up and down button on my steering does not change the radio station on my memorised playlist but it was seeking for the next frequency. He slammed the phone on me twice when i pleaded with him to talk to the audio installer he asked me to go to help solve the problem. For me group buy means you are buying an item and you are using it personally and want to buy in a group so that its cheaper. If one is buying and wanting to make profit then that person should register as a vendor. I didnt want to publish this problem until i see this guy making this suggestion. If he is also buying and installing in his car then i accept this is a group buy but also consider the fact that he tells me he is in penang and i cant make face to face contact to show him my problem and the phone slamming was most irritating
i am having problems with my unit too. only gps seems to be working - radio dead, sd dead, ipod dead, reverse camera also dead. the buttons no longer illuminate or respond and neither do the steering wheel buttons. worse of all is my unit doesn't switch off when i off the car. not sure if its hardware or software. awaiting lim's response on this issue, but in the meantime any advice is greatly appreciated.
if cant be resolve, im thinking to just dump this unit, way too many issues. any suggestions of other brands i can get, and where to get them? can PM me so as not to hijack lim's thread. sorry bro, but this unit has been quite a headache.
