Gearbox oil change?

The gearbox has been overhauled before and i remember one member said the gearshift was even better than his newer e46 back then. It has been awhile so the oil change is timely. I used to change every 40k kms

Affan, I did not see your last gear oil change, so I thought it best to do it. I think I have driven 38-40k since I got the car. Gear changes still smooth before and after the oil change.

to change GB oil altogether, u need about 6 bottles of GB oil. A bottle costs around rm70

I think it only cost you RM45-RM50 at Bavarian Auto. You need only 5 bottle if your is 530d.

i used to change my GB oil every 30k of mileage..the GB oil lifetime up to 40k...for e90 it need 6ltr of oil, prices around rm60/ltr...as per my 'pomen' said, better to change the oil than the GB...i used ROWE for my engine n GB...

Can sue AB kah..if the GB kong due to the Gearbox oil dirty ?

Should sue both official dealers and BMW HQ Germany.
