Saw this in today's paper. Apparently, they have this quite often...Anybody went for this???? What's the catch? The ad did say '...to all BMW owners' afterall......hmmm....

Those xx point checks are so basic, i'm sure anyone here can do it.
Eg.
1. Tyres have correct pressure,
2. Lights all working,
3. Wiper and spray working,
etc.

Then once the CHECKED. What's next? I'm sure they arent going to fix it for you there and then even if its just a blown bulb.

IMHO, a marketing ploy to get people to actually go there to view their cars...

nothing wrong with that. It's free whaaaaat.

AB used to do that during their 3er weekends too. While waiting, what did the owners check out? Cars and maybe.. girls, if any :p

My friend, who drives a e36 320, sms me to come. No catch actually, just to bring bmw owners to come view the BMW's available and the new showroom. And the 6er

But I didn't go though

affan66, right on the AB girls heh heh. On top of that, they (used to) let you tekan during the test drives too. BTW, just spent the weekend in Singapore. Boy, are there loads of 6ers there...and 360s, Continental GTs, Gallardos...

I was there with aDrIan tat day.. No there was no catch, standard 30-point check. Took only 30 minutes, but they take the opportunity to show their new model lar. Got freebies like NAZA key chain and tie pin (dunno who wears them!)..

Oh yah, somemore i kena interview by RTM for their Selamat Pagi Malaysia. Ask me wat UDM then they ask the most obvious question, why a BMW? I got excited preached to him why a UDM n not anything else, until he had to cut me off. Didnt get to catch the show though (not a morning person).
