First thing when get e46 325

hi,
i've seen in the star the adverts for 2001, 2002 325 e46 going for RM100-110K.

For a 6 year old car, would I be looking at major expenses in the short-term after i buy it and thereafter what kind of $$$ am i looking at paying for maintenance.

i am back again after 1 month of wonderful drive with my baby.. you guys are correct the experience really cool lah... the power and handling something superb. really worth the money no regret.....

so far spent around 2k to change some stuff... angle eye.. for sure the first thing i did.. then the headlamp cover, and some parts in steering rod.

The foreman checked teh car al in good condition and will do further check up when next service coz teh previous owner just serviced at aoto bavaria.

Congrats on ur ride ! mind to share where did you purchase the angel eye ? Is it just plug-and-play ? Or u need to redo some wiring ?

Angel-eyes was one of the first things I did too, along with the HIDs. Basically just plug and play with some minor wiring work needed.

Once you have seen the angel-eyes, especially in the dark, guarantee 100% worth it! You can see my avatar for a small example of what I mean :rock:

it cost me around 350 complete with installation. but make sure the installer know about how to open the head light cover and the signals coz the clips are frigile..

Hi there guys,

I am really tempated about angle eyes, but someone told me that my 2004 ci could fit an angle eyes coz the front cover could not and not suppose to be opened... is this true... btw Ive got a projector lamp...

On the power, mine is 318... can it be convert to 325 or 330? please highlight me on this issue..

Mine was done in MSpeed for around the same price. Cheaper I think at RM300 only. Reason why I cannot remember the exact price is because I did it together with the HIDs.

Was maintenance cost a factor that you thought about before deciding on a 325? I was thinking of a 318/320, but after reading more threads, a bit poisoned to go for 325 but worried too much problems in maintenance. Care to enlighten me...
