Finally I have gotten my 2nd dream car.

Dear all, I finally acquired my e90 325i after extensive researches and also scouting around for a good buy. Bought from one of used car dealers , gotten my mechanic to check up and down.
Car plate is PGX 3251 @ 121k Mileage

Early Diagnostics
The conclusions was great as , engine is healthy , transmission is silky smooth , suspensions and absorbers are in great conditions . Engine , Absorber mounting are good.
No signs of accidents , chassis are factory made , no foreign nuts and bolts and no extra welding done. Air conditioner and all buttons , lights are working well. Holsters of the seats , radio are great.
Comes with the automatic light , rain sensor , and auto rear blinds. 60/40 Folding Seats.
No warning lights. ( Always the seat belt pensioners , abs , airbag crap from so many I've seen. )

The only thing is , the rear cigarette lighter 1 of them is missing and middle cup holder doesn't disengage properly ( no problem with me ).

Test Drive
My mechanic rev the car after the first minute normal cruising , forced kick down and the transmission responded well without any confusion. Engine purr like a virgin haha..
Jam brake several times to complete halt. Ensuring the disc is not damage and also alignment is straight no problem. Steering responsiveness at normal without signs of drawing power from engine.
Several sudden acceleration , and the car handles it perfectly. Sound insulation is great.

Overall Verdict
Paid the down-payment and booking. Signed HP Agreement Yesterday, JPJ endorsement on Monday. Collecting the car on Wednesday (Tentative , earlier the better )


I cant wait to drive my next UDM.

Yeah.. Its been quite some time..I think more than a year .

I only paid the booking for test drive after my mechanic did the early diagnostic. We are not allowed to jack up the car. So my mechanic lie down on the asphalt in every inch and corner of the car using a torch light to inspect. Took him a good 20 minutes to inspect everything. After the green light , paid the booking and test drive.. It was a huge leap for me as I am driving a e36 318i . The 6 pot and G force is a whole new level.. :love:

Why do used car dealer forbid prospects from jacking up their cars?

Some are afraid that you will damage their car. Some don't wanna entertain you as you can be the many thousand people just touch and go.. That's why they insist a booking fee for test drive. They will sell you the idea , if you test drive the car no problem , you have to buy the car. Cause of no problem , why wouldn't you not buy in the first place. Lastly some dealers r crooks , the car badly damage in accident need to check the chassis below.. My mechanic lie flat on his back to inspect every corner.. Kudos to him..

Just as I suspected. Less than noble reasons.
