Regularly exercise all the window is a good way to avoid it being stuck/unused for too long, hence cable got entangle or snap.

My is a permanent solution to the window behind the driver side, my mech got me a tongkat stuck beneath it and unplug the wire cable since I'm driving alone most of the time (leaving it dead for the time being).

Just bought myself a can of silicon spray. Slightly different from yours. Anyway, after spraying it on all four windows, I could see the difference already. The movement of the windows were smoother, quieter and faster.
