F30 's side mirrors (Reversing)

Yo guys, will urs F30's side mirror flip/ turn down and show the lower of the ground/ rear tyre part while u reversing?Today i just noticed that the side mirror of my F30 only flip/ turn down on passenger side, the driver side remain the same angle while im reversing. And when i turn the side mirror adjust button to the left, both of the side mirrors remain same angle and doesnt flip/ turn down to show the lower ground.Is that a norm?

You can disable it. Just move the side view mirror selector to the opposite side, and turn it back on when you need to.

I do find however with the F30, the mirror turns down quite a bit, meaning the angle is such that I see the road curb very well but not much else. I found with the E90, the angle was better, I could see a little of the rear and also the curb. Has anyone else also noticed this ?

Yes, I was told F10 and F30 have better PDC system LOL!!!

Better PDC system: open door and lean out to look behind when reversing.

Best PDC system: ask wife to get out and guide you
