Just wanted to share a vid took during an F30 DSC demonstration at Auto Bavaria Sg Besi. Participants got a chance to try out the F30 with and without DSC turned on.Falling in love with the F30..The same vid can be found in paultan's site from a different angle. Participants were only allowed to drive the E90 325i Sport for the DSC exercise. The F30 was demo-ed by the instructor.

The 320d has the necessary torque to break the tire's free of its grip on the pavement. Nice demo.

The biggest difference when it comes to drifting between the two is the 8 speed sport transmission.

The F30 will not upshift, where as the E90 will upshift to 2nd gear and that will make the radius bigger and also a loss of torque. So you would have to keep downshifting in the E90

That looks like a purpose built drift machine, look at the rear tires when accelerating out of corners, looked like a full locked diff
