Do not remove your catalytic converter....your car will go nuts!

Google: closed loop EFI systems for further clarification

hee thanks for your advice...how bout the silencer? with CAT but straight pipe without silencer..any problem can harm my engine?

All bmw xhaust systems have been designed, engineered and bench-tested to give your engine the best balance of power, torque and economy.

Aftermarket xhaust only work if you have done internal modifications(pistons, cams, etc) to your engine. Standard engines will recieve NO benefits especially if you are running on automatic transmission. You will experience loss of power and increase in fuel consumption.

all you get is just noise bro.
It may not harm your engine but not sure about your ear drum....

thanks bro..my car is manual transmission...i have done some modification on the pully, Carbon air intake, and also sprint booster..coming soon is SAFC continental. looking for exhaust modification..maybe i can change my silencer with M3 / SMG HAMMAN or AC Schnitzer silencer? can fix ar?

for manual without the cat ...ummm so far no problem ...i've done that on my 36 ...

silencer works ...better visit jaffar motorworks ...they seems to be the best when comes to silencer mods ...

That's a good way to go but try not to remove the catalytic converter.:top: AC xhaust bunyi manyak sedap woooo!

wuhh

emm would like to try soon...piping with CAT remain ON but change silencer to ac schnitzer...with CAI intake..sounds good to me :)

thats sounds good...
yupp...i took out Cat on my manual....
pls let me know how much is the AC backbox...looking for it too...
its not cheap i guess...huhu

my mechanic said we can find at chop shop...he said the best way to do is to keep our main CAT at the front for fuel saver and error signal and keep our extractor coz ours bimmer extractor is good enough design for performance, just do connection from the middle exhaust system ( after main CAT ) straight piping to the muffler. if have little bit more budget get the M3 / AC middle and rear box...sounds awesome what he did to his 325. i will check the price and will let u guys know..hehe feels more interesting now...at least have some idea to do...
