the pictures taken by Jarance is of my car...went there last week...first impressions were that I might have wasted my money, sounded totally standard...

Now, after a week, it's getting better....totally silent from inside the cabin (what I want), much more muscle from outside...sounds abit more garang with a low rumble...not too noisy..power wise, can't really feel the diff...my car still can only go up to about 185kmh max....still puzzled about this!!! even toyotas can go faster!damn shy!

I had my supersprint repacked at Jaafar's about 6 months ago.
Paid RM 400 and was quite pleased with the sound - told him I do not want too loud.
But, my opinion is, they have lousy welding skills - looks very untidy. I think the welding for repacking is done elsewhere.
However, I don't think repacking last as 2 days ago, there was an enormous hole at the place where the pipe joins the box - the pipe has coroded where welding is carried out.
Went to a shop in Ipoh and paid RM 30 to cut the 4 inches out and then weld another piece on.
Was told that the box will only last for another 3 months as rust and corrosion can be seen at welding points.
Guess I have to start saving for a new supersprint.
Ozone.. the welding for the repacking is done at the shop. I have personally witness the welding done on maverick exhaust. In the shop, I can see about 5 welding machine, 1 tig welding machine and a lazer cutting machine. Most of the exhaust shop I have been usually use accetylene cutter.

maverick, now the sound is getting louder.... sure or not... I must hear it for myself. The only way to know is to compare a stock exhaust for the exhaust flow and sound..

as you drive from sunway pyramid towards subang, take the left turn where there is an Esso.

drive slowly and u will see JFA on your right

repack exhaust

not worth doing a repack, once u open up and weld it back,it will start to rust at the welded area even if u paint over it because it rust from inside out
