Engine oil indicator light

All sifus , Need your feedback or advise on this matter, 1) Recently my engine oil indicator light up especially first thing in the morning for about 3-5 sec and it disappearred after that.:106: 2) And also happen s after I parked my car for more than 3-4 hour. Is this because of the oil is yet to be pumped to the whole engine or is it due to engine sluge or any other problem ? thanks

i believe its the oil sensor, not due to oil circulation. get it check with your mechanic to verify

I've got the same problem, its confirmed the Oil Level Sensor...
but I've yet to get it replaced, I guess I can live with it...

u just need to inspect the dipstick and make sure the oil is sufficient and at correct level

Bro, so far when I check the dipstick (weekly basis) the oil level is sufficient:smokin:.
This problem start to happen:39: only after I change my engine oil brand from Shell Helix Ultra to Castrol Edge

How much is the cost to replace the sensor................

I have the same problem as well even before i did my major service. The mechanic said the sensor kapput already. Asked me to drive until the next service only change.

in my opinion, i dont think changing oil brand or viscosity will damage the oil level sensor, maybe just pure coincidence

I'm facing the same situation since last 2 weeks..
Got sufficient oil but the indicator light up.
Called the mechanic & comment the same thing..it's the sensor.
Will replace it later and he said it's around RM300+..

mine too, will only change it when it really lits up and doesn't go away
