E60 Wheel Alignment

Hi all E60 owners E60 comes with active steering, does that mean we can only do our wheel alignment with AB ? Or we can do at outside exprerienced tyre shops ? My understanding is so long as the adjustment does not touch on steering rod which a normal wheel alignment or chambering will not do so, it is ok to do wheel alignment and balancing at outside shop. Any view is appreciated.

i think u can do it outside as long as they dont touch the steering component as u mentioned earlier ~ my 2cents
