E60 I-drive error message "central electronic failure"

Hi sifu, my E60 04 Japan specs appear above error message, come with red symbol car jacking up on hydraulic on service. Anyone get this error message before? It appear when I sit on car while my wife is waiting in the car with car engine on. It disappear after few seconds that Im not manage to capture the screen shot. Please help...

do you have sunroof or panoramic roof?

Check the area in and around your spare tire, is it wet?
There's a module that controls many of the electronics located in the spare tire well.water could get into the trunk and collect in the spare wheel well. Also check the batter tray for water. If it is wet, that module probably toast.

Psre tyre compartment ?? that area only have the PDC Card, power modules and wiring back to the right side compartment where all the fuses locate.

If the area really damage by water.....u will be very headache

Thanks sifu, it appear twice, but seems only for couple of seconds and disappeared.. Checked the portion it's dry. Could be the cars beauties polish the electronic parts causing it
