Hi Friends,Am a new member here...bought a 2004 Japan recond E60 525i a month ago. Just wanted to find out from you guys here if there are any warning indicator that would be displayed on i-Drive or the dashboard if any of the door is not closed tight. If it does, would you know which is the door ? Thanks ...

Yes, it is not at the i drive but the the dashboard meter. Yours is not functioned?

I found out that the door ajar warning only comes on when the car starts to move and not when it is stationary. Yes, it appears on the meter panel.

Btw, when setting the aircon to internal recirculate mode I noticed it still take in outside air every now and then due to the CO2 smell...any way to completely disable the periodic outside air intake ?

Ur huh, believe that is a safeguard by BMW so that the stale air gets changed once in a while... to prevent drowsiness. On my E34, I just seal off the flap completely.
