Hi guys, just got my e60 530d LCI, im curious if its normal to hear the wind noise when drive above 180kmh, ?

Wind sound while speed is quite mormall.. but depends how bad it is bro .

Just tested 530i and 530d, the 530i was so good but 530d, Better. 530d really give you the same *feeling as when you take off to air from a small airplane and never hesitate to reach 245km/h. This is what I am looking for in E60.*

I noticed that the 530d car vibrate when ignition off compare to 530i. Is it common among 530d?

yeap its normal for the engine to vibrate when u turn off the ignition, but i have checked with my friend whos a tech in bmw, its nothing to do with the mounting its just because its a diesel engine and its normal, and very true the 530d gives a drastic pull, esp with the DS mode

Contrary to that my braders, though the vibration is norm but there is a limit to it, it shud not vibrate like a big diesel lorry so to say .
The function of the engine mounting, if its in good condition will "absorb" that "vibration sensation" to its minimum. I hv had mine changed once before (after abt 200K km) and there is a significant difference ...
