Kuching do have few BM specialist..but prefer the one got modec equipment...can give more through checking... :D

On the support (rather, lack of) from Auto Bavaria, u should write a long complaint letter to BMW in Germany. Notwithstanding that you did not buy from the particular distributor, BMW is a global brand and should be supported by the distributor, regardless where it was purchased from.

Go to the international BMW web site and lodge your complaint there. If there is sufficient numbers of dissatisfied people, I am sure they will act on it eventually. Perhaps someone could draft the said letter and post it here for the benefit of others not so creatively inclined.

In my case, I am a strong believer that AutoBavaria does not give value for money. I prefer my own independent BMW specialist and will stick with him.

Cheers!

I do agree with you ichiwan..as matter of fact I have write an email to BMW Malaysia & the next day they reply with cc. to AB. The response from them are satisfactory just don't know whether AB would commit to it o not. I have yet drop by to AB to re-comfirm..

Actually, I did write to BMW Germany, together with a few of my kakis - I think that's one of the reasons why they do accept grey imports for service now, but NOT the current models like the E90!

According to AB staff in Kuching, they can't take current models cos that will affect the current model's sales - i.e. ppl buying cheap from grey importers than service at AB! Makes sense, I guess!

Ya! I do agree as they do have target volume need to commit with BMW Germany...The AB have to look into wider picture as more pply drive BMW is oso good for them, it is kind of recognition by people on the brand...if Cycle & Carriage can accept mercedes from grey importer & even Eon can accept Audi bought from other dealers, I don't see any reason why AB will turn down the customer who bought from grey importer.. in the end the AB will be losing out..

Cheers!!! :p
