How much is the average second hand accident free M3 cost? With a moderate milage of 25,000 KM per year, 2001 make to maybe a Jan 2006 model. Also, with the new 2007/2008 E92 M3 Coupe coming out, how will that affect the market for a brand new E46 M3? Based on previous years, will it decrease it's price due to it being outdated, or will it go up because of it's now "Collector's Item" status? Or will it just stay the same until the last one is sold? Thanks in advance.

there's an 01 m3 uk specs manual with 100k km selling 270k... cheap coz manual, old, and high mileage.. else, expect to pay 340-360k for a decent unit.. price shud drop a bit throughtout next yr, but i think it wud sustain once the new v8 comes out at around 800k.. !!

- '03 E46 M3 Hardtop Cabrio
- SMG Transmission
- Metallic Paint
- Pre-registered, second hand, 12 months usage (from '05 to '06) and a double digit plate
- 19" M stock rims, tyres appears to be in good shape
- 12,000 Miles, I did not get to start up and test drive the car, so the condition of the engine will be a guess until I can get a mechanic to come along with me.
- Exterior condition seems to be good
- Interior looks good, leather is a bit worn but after some looking after it should be fine.
- DVD Sat Nav and TV
- Warranty covering Engine, Electronics and Transmission for 12 months

Price? RM 389,xxx

So the question I want to ask is : Is this worth the price? If not, how low can this one actually go?

As a note, recall work was not done on this car.

Hey bro..

You should PM Calvin Tan.. he drives an M3.. would probably be able to give you a better view on it.

Don't know about the price, but once I was next to an M3 (Calvin's car) at a traffic light junction.. 3 seconds later, I can't even see his brake lights! Damn, that machine was fast. PICK IT UP! :D

wah bro StRat, 3 seconds?!?!? I thought gone in 60 seconds?
But anyway RM389k for a 03 M cab is above market value. I saw one M3 cab SMGII (can't really remember the year of the production of this car, but the car should be 3 or 4 years old back then) sold for RM380k with the W##1 plate end of the year 05. The number already cost RM65k atleast!

Thanks much for the info guys, looks like I either have to negotiate hard or look elsewhere!

By the way, I think I saw Calvin Tan's "gone in three seconds" along the LDP yesterday night (where a Volvo seemed to have made a 90 degree crash into the highway barrier). Extremely sweet looking ride.
