Calling all sifus out there .....Car is E46 318i year 2000There is a patch of oil on the floor under the engine bay after the car is left overnight. The oil is 'blue' in colour and its feel slightly runny, not as thick as the engine oil.Any idea where the oil is coming from and what sort of problem is it? The car/engine seems to run fine.Appreciate any comments. Thank you.

have a check on the expension tank. Had this problem last month... after checking, found out the tank had leakage, changed it for RM295 with labor.

I think you are right that it is the coolant leaking. My concern is that the cooling system was only repaired recently. Changed the thermostat, pipe and a connecting tube, plus two bottles of the coolant.
Will arrange to go to the workshop again and do a pressure test.
