e46 default alarm system

guys ,just wanna check , if i press the bmw key control , in the middle twice consecutively , does it arm the car or does it disarm the car ?

I had the same confusion about that recently with my new UDM..... but got it sorted out when i checked with the tech guys at AB.

Presing the lock button once arms the interior and exterior sensors.

Pressing it twice, arms the interior sensor only.

wow!!! got both interior and exterior as well? i also did not know that!!! thanks for the info... any other special features that you know?

thats for the e90 ?

based on what i read from the manual , if you press button 2 twice , it actually deactivates the interior movement and tilting sensor... for the e46 , anyone can clarify ?
