E46 Alarm Remote Control Key

My E46 remote control don't seem to be able to arm/disarm lock/unlock. Is it becos of the battery? if yes, how do I change it? Mine's the E46 325i pre-facelift.

Bro, you can't change the battery. it recharge by itself whenever you use it. prob your key rosak. some people said boleh repair if related to alarm but not if cannot start. well, the cost of replacing the key tak mahal.....RM984.35 + RM30. I kena already.

can start the engine...so its the battery...

any idea how much the rechargeable battery? re-chargeable batteries to have a lifespan, its 4 years already so i would presume the batteries are dead.

what rechargeable battery are you refering to? as I mentioned earlier, you
cannnot change the battery for you remote key ma...

anyone can help me.i just get a new car key from my used car shop.the key is make by ab from germany i think, then they send to malaysia.the key is new.but i cant use the remote control.i can start the car and open the door manually.so any advise that malaysia can fix the remote??
