E46 325 or 328?

What do you mean de-tune? Try racing a stock 323 and 325 or try driving this 2..you can feel almost no difference.

323 and 325...a lots of difference bro. 170hp and 190hp you can feel the difference. I know i owned one previously.

RM200 per month extra fuel = RM2400 p.a. Now that portion already blow the roadtax bajet...

Used car now should be desperate.. What the worth value second hand 328 rite now? I think it should be RM70k - RM80k. He he he...

325 = M54 engine

if M52 engine = M54 engine

then 323 = 325

if M52 engine ≠ M54 engine

then 323 ≠ 325

Bro that thread justify nothing, the discussion just plain and empty.

323i using detune 2.5l engine, if i am not mistaken the engine use different header compared to 325i car. If you wanna macth with 325i, u have to do remapping and install ram charger:biggrin:.

agree2.... 2.5 ltr de-tune. That what I've read between M52B25 and M54B25. When they (BMW) made the newer engine and change the name, it can not be the same.

LD8 ... go for the 325i. It's newer engine and you'll pay RM600 in road-tax (after RM200 rebate). HP not much different, just the torque. E46 328 and E36 328 engine are the same. I test drove a E46 320i 1 month ago, I find the power sufficient, even though I drive a 328. If want more power then get the 330i, even better put supercharger.
