Hi Guys,

Any one experience before when cranking the engine it doesn't start up? Usually when car is left idle for a few good hours? But can start up after leaving it a while? Battery is new...When I turn on the key, I can hear the fuel pump.
Issue is also intermittent. Usually when car is left for a short time say 4-5 hours after initial start up its ok. But left overnight or more than 6-7 hours this problem occurs occasionally. Is it the starter or crank position sensor or fuel pump fuses?

Thanks

Bro,

Always start with the cheapest problem solving.

Just my 2 cents sharing:

1) When was the last time you changed your spark plugs? RM18/ plugs (Bosch)
2) Have you tried any fuel injector / fuel system cleaner before? ( I've tried more than 5 bottles in 20k KM ard 8 months)
3)Fuel filter? RM 110 (got a shocked when found mine dented quite badly)
4) Ignition coils? not sure if it helps, but i changed all when i changed my plugs (RM82/coil)

**I've experienced a much better/faster start up now after tried all the above method**

again, my problem can be different from yours, but just a sharing...

could be the fuel ragulator leak, after few hour fuel rail low pressure, u have to start few more time to create pressure than can start

Most of the stuff above mentioned stuff has been changed....

Yeah read a few posts that says crackshaft sensor and also fuel regulator...thanks for the suggestions guys... will need to let the mech check

the only issue is the problem is intermittent...so that's the hard part to diagnose
