Dear ForummersI`m going to get my UDM soon 318i M-Sport.year 2001 RM10XkBut now many people said that e46 318i model is under power?Can anyone here suggest to me :-- It`s e46 318i also under power- what is pro and contra of 318iNeed your reply and comment from you all before i`m going to put some downpayment this monday.Thank you

Have you test driven the car? Guess only you can decide if a car is underpowered, based on your driving style :wink:

Apart from the power, I suggest you try out the 6-potter models before putting your downpayment... the sound of the engine on start-up and when picking up speed is one of the reasons I really love my 325i now :love:

I own a 325i . i've drove my friend's 318 before . I dont think is under power . It depends which car you compare with . What is ur current car ? ? If you're comparing with local made sure the 318 is way better . but if you have the chance to try a 325 then it will be better .

As zammie said he love the engine sound of 325i so do i ? Sporty sound . . But some said its too loud for them... all depends on what you like and your personal favourite . .

Thanks a lot for your advice & comments.
Last night i end up my decision to own e46 318i 2.0L Year 2003 UK spec.
The car still in good condition. Engine 2.0CC compare to 318i MSport i see before (1.9CC).
Now waiting for the car to be ready and after that i will change the colour because the original colour is maroon. I plan to change to white colour and 18" Rims. Anyone here can suggest me where can i Paint my car with reasonable price and good quality?

Stick to 17". 18" will make your car to be a bit underpower during pickup.

That is very true. Use to have 18 on my 46 but later on changed back to 17. Overall, the car feels better. Tyre is cheaper, bushes also last longer. But of course 18 look better.

Can you all recommend me where can i find a shop to do that?
