E39 Climate Control Unit Repair

Anyone know where i can get my E39 Climate Control Unit Repaired? When I plug it is, the blower motor goes berzerk and just goes full blast even without the key in the ignition.

Mostly can not repair, this was what i got from AB mechanic when mine kong..but better u check the back side cable 1st b4 u dump it.

Hi Brother, if the AC blower going crazy, it might not necessary due to the bad AC, there is a resistor control which is likely causing your problem, before spending the big money, get the FSU from Bavarian Auto, i think it is RM200, and you will likely solve this problem.

Thanks for the tip Zank..but thats the first thing i change when my blower went crazy...now i have a spare FSU sitting at home....

Guys,

My unit when setting to a set temperature, say 25 deg. celsius. The fan speed self adjust when set to "Auto" mode, but somehow when it reach the set temperature, it will switch fan to blow on the windscreen and at half the max fan speed. Is my unit working fine?

I like the auto mode feature, but it keeps fogging up the windscreen.

Any idea?
